In November the girls all competed in the Starbound Competition which was held at Higley Performing Arts. The girls all did great. Lauryn's group came in 4th overall and Sommer & Sydney's came in 9th. They were invited to go to the National Competition at Lake Tahoe this summer. Brian and I were very proud of all of our girls and the progress they have made this past year in their dancing.
We ate Thanksgiving dinner with the Neus family this year. It was very short and sweet. We were a little anxious to leave because we had a trip to Disneyland to get started! We left straight from our Thanksgiving feast to Anaheim, California. It was so nice to have both sets of grandparents join us!
We arrived at our hotel late Thursday night and headed to Disneyland on Friday morning after a nice breakfast at our hotel. Disneyland was fun and we were able to rent Brian a wheelchair the first day (a scooter the second day) and move our family to the front of just about every line. It was great! The only problem with taking older kids (who now have opinions on everything) to Disneyland, is that it was hard deciding where to go next. We should have spilt up into groups and gone where we all wanted - but the kids wanted to stick together. So it was a little crazy! Brian did pretty good considering everything. He didn't get too tired and felt great most of the time. What a blessing that was!
