We had a crazy/fun Memorial Day this year. Brian and I asked everyone what they wanted to do as a family. Hunter wanted to go to the zoo, Sommer wanted to go bowling, Sydney wanted to go out on the boat, Chloe wanted to go to Chuckie Cheese and Lauryn wanted to go to San Tan Mall and run through the little water play area. None of them got what they wanted! Brian and I decided to take them to see the new Indiana Jones movie. We met up with Kevin, Kristen, Courtney, Kendyl, Connor and Korynn. We consumed too much sugar - but that's part of the fun of going to the movies, right?
Chloe drew that sweet picture for me. We've had 3 deaths in our family this year. In February my mom's older sister, Ann passed away. In March, my cousin, (Ann's daughter) Kathy, decided she couldn't go on without her mom and took her own life (leaving behind 2 little boys). In April my mom's younger brother, Ronny died. It's been a pretty crazy time for my mom's family! We hope that's all for our family for a long, long time!
